My Approach

A holistic and spirit centered approach that prioritizes breath, mindful movement, and divine feminine energy

Integrating Awareness into Our Lives

I approach teaching yoga as an active exchange of energy. I consider myself a lifelong student and every time I lead a class I'm learning as well. I deeply value feedback from my students so that I can cater sessions to their needs and goals. This can range from spiritual growth and ancestral healing to simply getting in shape and having a consistent movement, meditation, and/or breathing practice. My holistic and integrative perspective incorporates the chakra system, reiki, astrology, and ayurvedic teachings.

One of my intentions as a teacher is to make yoga more inclusive and accessible, particularly for black femmes, survivors, and other marginalized groups that often feel excluded from yoga spaces. For me, yoga is a practice of taking up space and connecting with my most authentic self in a culture that consistently sends me messages to shrink and silence myself.

Through the practice of yoga, we can cultivate deeper levels of awareness that allow us to tap into our true selves, purposes, and desires beyond our social conditioning and upbringing. I would love to be your guide and companion as you unfold into the most expansive version of yourself.

Payment for group classes is offered on a sliding scale basis, meaning that participants have the option of paying between $12-$20  relative to their financial situation. I am open to different forms of exchange apart from monetary so please reach out with any ideas or questions regarding this concept.

"For as we begin to recognize our deepest feelings, we begin to give up, of necessity, being satisfied with suffering and self negation, and the numbness which so often seems like their only alternative in our society"
